Rachel Retzer brings a wide-range and impressive set of talents to her work as a Real Estate professional within the well-known and esteemed Summit Sotheby’s International Realty brand. A Park City resident since 2009, Rachel’s vibrant personality paired with her confident and energetic approach to life, has touched many lives in the Park City community.
Growing up in Pinehurst, North Carolina, Rachel spent a great deal of time on her grandfather’s construction sites which sparked an early interest in home building, as well as buying and selling real estate. Rachel attended the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and Appalachian State University where she earned a communications degree with an emphasis in advertising and marketing. Rachel later earned a master’s degree from Westminster College. In 2002 Rachel’s Real Estate career began as the Marketing Director for a Florida luxury Real Estate developer, facilitating client relationships and projects crucial to the $1 billion Landmark sales and marketing team. After moving to Park City in 2009, she began working with Glenwild Realty with a focus on long-term property management. Rachel became familiar with the niche neighborhoods in the Park City area, facilitating match-making of prospective Park City residents and current Park City homeowners. Naturally, the renters became buyers and Rachel found herself selling the Park City dream!
Rachel has personally lived in Old Town, Silver Springs, Jeremy Ranch, Kimball Junction, and off Old Ranch Road over the past 10 years. Her personal Real Estate history combined with her professional experience has afforded her a wealth of knowledge and experience that she is able to share with her clients.
In her work with real estate buyers and sellers, Rachel describes herself as giving 110 percent to everything she sets her mind to, going above and beyond the call of duty if necessary. This particular quality is reflected in the accolades and career milestones she’s achieved over the years. From receiving Park City Best Teacher of the Year twice, and Excellent Educator Award at Parley’s Park Elementary over the course of her teaching career, to founding the Park City Running Club, a non-profit running club for youth in Park City, there is never a doubt in her clients’ minds that Rachel can accomplish whatever it is that they ask of her and whatever she puts her mind to.
From Real Estate businesses aided by her marketing insights to families and children who have been an integral part of her elementary school teaching experiences where she’s received multiple awards, Rachel applies a similar exuberance to her real estate clients, whether they’re growing families moving into Park City or baby boomers retiring and moving on to their next adventure.
In addition to all the joy she experiences with her work as a real estate agent, Rachel loves being a mother to her blended family of 5 kids, ages ranging from 12 to 16. Along with a passion for running and riding cruiser bikes around Park City’s hills and valleys, you may just run into Rachel around town cheering at her kids’ lacrosse, tennis, or soccer events. With 5 kids, there are plenty to keep her busy!
